Saturday September 22nd I was invited to the Coachmen Street Rod Association 15th Annual Apple Cider Festival Car Show in Lordstown, OH. This show is part of the Lordstown Apple Cider festival and had something for everyone. It was held at the Lordstown School and along with the car show there was a craft show and a carnival all within walking distance of each other. Even though it was cloudy and a bit cool that didn't stop the cars, trucks, vans, and motorcycles from coming out for the day. The Coachmen Street Rod Association judged the entrants and awarded thirty-six plaques and a Best of Show award. I was informed that most of the proceeds from the Chinese Auction and 50/50 went to a local Hospice and each year they pick a new charity. Dash plaques, free coffee, and snacks were provided also. This is a great family event where you can purchase your favorite carnival food and walk around and check out local crafts and some cool cars. Try to check this show out next year!
